Staff

Pastor Ted Swezey and his wife Kathy came to us from Seattle in March of 2019.  Pastor Ted has served several churches in California and Washington, prior to coming to serve here in Alaska at First Baptist Church Eagle River. He taught Bible College for fifteen years during those Ministry years.  Prior to FBCER he was Pastor of FBC Federal Way, WA for sixteen years. 

Summary

Brittni Widener started attending First Baptist Church in 2018. In 2019, she began teaching a Sunday School Class and helping out in AWANA. In 2020, she started working as the Administrative Assistant for First Baptist Church. She continues to teach a Sunday School Class, she teaches a group in AWANA, she is currently active in several Bible Studies and prayer groups.

Marge Cutting joined the staff of FBCER in 1984 as the Secretary. She served in that position until 2006. She retired from full-time service to part-time bookkeeper and has enjoyed caring for her grandchildren since that time. She is active in worship choir, Sunday School teaching, Women's ministry, Fellowship and much more.
