Bible Studies Currently On-Going
at First Baptist Church

Precept Ministries Study on
Romans - Free from Sin's Penalty
Thursdays - 9:30am - Noon
Part 1: Sept 2 - Jan 27
Part 2: Feb 3 - Apr 21

All have sinned. There is none righteous. We are declared righteous by God only by faith in the blood of His Son. Romans 1-5 explains the foundational doctrines of our faith - original sin, justification, redemption, and propitiation. Gain an excellent grasp of the doctrine of salvation!

Come join us Thursday mornings for this Women's Bible Study.   Childcare will be provided.  Please contact the church office for more information or to sign up for childcare.

The Counselor
Sunday Evenings - 5:00pm - 5:50pm
Taught by Jim Gore

This class is ongoing, looking primarily at the subject of the role of the Holy Spirit in each believer. References are primarily the Bible itself, but also the writings of Arthur Pink, A.W. Tozer and Oswald Chambers.

Book of Daniel
Sunday Evenings - 5:00pm - 5:50pm
Taught by Todd Burgess

The pastor continues the in-depth study of the book of Daniel. He takes a verse by verse approach to the Scriptures. This study helps believers understand how God spelled out many things concerning the Last Times to the prophet Daniel.

What Baptists Believe
Sunday Evenings - 5:00pm - 5:50pm
Taught by David Banks
beginning Sunday, September 12

A study of the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message, a Statement of Faith adopted by Southern Baptists first in 1925, then adapted in 1963 and in
2000 at the Annual Conventions of each of these years. Though very little has been changed, each of these statements addressed new controversies in their particular periods. We will look to discover what makes individual believers uniquely Baptist, but mostly what Baptists believe about the Bible and the nature of the Church.

AWANA
Sunday Evenings - 5:00pm - 7:00pm

AWANA is our ministry for children during the Discipleship Training
and Evening Worship hours each Sunday. Children have a time of worship,
recreation and study of God's Word, memorizing many verses throughout the year.
AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, based on 2 Timothy 2:15.
